I have a British friend who likes to joke that July 4th is also celebrated in England. He says they call it, “Thank God They’re Gone” day. Make no mistake, he is indeed joking, as he happily lives in America. And he’s a funny guy, to boot.
Anyhoo, as we celebrate the birthday of the Declaration of Independence, I wish you a safe, happy, beautiful 4th. In fact, I wish it for the entire world, no matter what’s being celebrated.
