I don’t know what to say.
I’ve loved the Beastie Boys since I was a kid. I guess they were kids, too. I still have a 12″ of “Cooky Puss” from 1983, and I still adore it. Vinyl, CDs – The Beasties are well-loved in my little corner of the Universe.
To hear that Adam “MCA” Yauch passed away on Friday is just heart-breaking. Cancer. Only 47.
I and all Beastie fans are grateful for the music. But this weekend may find me weeping for what might have been. For the sonic adventures those 3 crazy guys might have conducted. I guess we’ll never know, will we?
