I was watering the few house plants I’ve managed to keep alive and noticed something on one of the orchids. You may remember my sharing a bit about how an orchid had sprouted a baby, or keiki plant. And that little tyke was eventually removed from its mother and potted. Both mother and child are doing fine, thank-you-very-much.

While reading up on that process, I came across something saying a keiki can be a rare occurrence and that experiencing it should be celebrated. So I figured I had indeed gone through a once-in-a-lifetime plant birth and would likely never see it again.

But no! That mama orchid is sprouting another baby! Wowza! I’m gonna have to get some cigars!
