The other day I was going through some of the photos on my phone. I had taken several pics of paintings in an artsy magazine. Some of the photos were snapped because I was inspired by the artists’ brush strokes, or their use of light. Other photos were taken because the art made me giggle.

Anyhoo, as I went from photo to photo, I was commenting – aloud, thank-you-very-much – on what I liked about each painting. When I got to the above photo, I said, “Nice bowl of oranges.” Then I went on to the next phone-pic. Then I went back. I had failed to even notice that the bowl of oranges was a detail photo of one of my paintings.

That moment was pretty cool for me. And fun. The painting has changed a bit since that progress photo was taken, and will soon be ready for sealing. And sharing. And if you’re wondering about that furry dude on the left, well, I can only say I believe you will not be disappointed.
