Mister and I are some of the few people left with a phone land-line. We’re old-school. Or stupid. Maybe both. Anyhoo, that phone line is yet another detail that must be handled during a move. And dealing with the gal-danged phone company is enough to make a gal swear off communications altogether.

 

But that’s not really an option, is it? I need my phone. I need my inter-web. I need my line of communication.

 

So after years of being a faithful customer and paying too much for service, I’ve now been on hold for 20+ minutes. Apparently, I’m one of the first people to ever request my service be moved from one address to another.

 

I do hope they figure it all out. You know, in case some other land-line-user ever decides to move.
