I spent the weekend in Denver, Colorado, where I got a lovely dose of autumn. Not only did I enjoy the changing colors, I also enjoyed the cold. It dipped below freezing, and there was even some snow!
Back here in Southern California, I do believe that little bit of fall will carry me through any remaining heat spells on our docket.
I certainly hope so, at least. In my mind, I’m bundled up in the chilly air, squinting against the bright, mile-high sunshine. And I’m smiling like a derned fool.
