This is, was, um, is (?) my second painting. It’s a copy of some painting or other, and I have no idea who did it originally. I do seem to remember it being old, as in from the early 1900’s. But that’s all I got, folks.
During my early learning process, I chose this painting to copy because it felt peaceful. Quiet even. Every now and then, I’ll catch sight of it and it still brings me peace. Nothing to complain about there.
I’ve learned a lot since I painted this. And there’s a world more to learn. That’s a pretty good reason to get up each morning. A pretty good reason to keep trying, keep going. That, and I still haven’t found the place pictured in this painting. And I desperately want to…
