So yesterday morning brought us the Oscar nominees, including a pitiful mispronunciation of a cinematographer’s last name. (That, my friends, is why actors are best at announcing Oscar nominees – their jobs require them to know how to read aloud.)
Anyhoo – Mister and I look forward to learning the Oscar nominees each year. We happen to adore movies, and make a point of seeing all the best picture nominees before the Oscars are given out. This year finds us with only a couple of films to see, and those should be checked off fairly soon.
Personally, I’m pretty jazzed about “Whiplash” being nominated. I wrote about this one and I stand by my take. Loved it. It hurt to watch. Still love it.
