This painting was completed a few years ago and is in a private collection. Why am I just now getting around to sharing it? Beats me.
Anyhoo, it’s an ode to committed relationships, and I’ve since duplicated it for other couples. The bottles hold personal information about spouses, when and where they met and when they married. I’m on the verge of launching the sale of personalized giclees, based on this original painting. Logistics are being worked out, and I’ll let you know when the shop is up and running. I’m scared of this endeavor and excited at the same time.
Honestly, I do like these little paintings. They’re sweet and the fact that they’re personalized makes each and every one unique. And kind of fun for me to paint. Wish me luck on the sales.
