Have you ever seen something you wanted, but didn’t need? And have you yearned for that item? Longed to possess it?
That’s how I felt when I saw the bird headband shown above. I was so smitten with it, I just wanted to take it home and obsess over it. I wanted to wear it to the grocery store. Or to dinner. Or while binge-watching “House of Cards.”
Alas – it was not to be. That lovely masterpiece was a rental item at a costume store, and would never be mine. But it sure is pretty. And I sure do like it. And if I find myself pretending to wear it while running errands, I think that will be okay.
