Mister and I decided that because we’re trying to create some form of art with each week’s Drunk Dial Think Tank, we should designate every 5th week as a catch-up period. This is because some art forms take longer than a day to express themselves. Sure – one can write a song in a day, but maybe a gal needs a bit more time. Or painting, for example. We could sit around and watch paint dry (literally) before adding layers, but we’d rather not.
There will be projects that find themselves finished in a day or two. Others will take a bit more time. In acknowledging this fact of creative life, we’re trying to avoid a complete meltdown.
That last bit about the meltdown is aimed more toward me than Mister. I’m just sayin’.
