Mister and I worked on various art photography ideas while in London, and we’ll process those and share soon (as if I haven’t shared enough pics in my various London blog posts). Since we were both armed with our own cameras, we only have to weed through about 2000 photos. You know, to find the handful that are actually good.

In the meantime, I’m going to claim our Week 39 artistic endeavor as all the museum-ing we did in London. (I get to make that call because I’m the boss of me.) Seriously – there were times when my brain overloaded on so much art. In a good way, granted, but still. That overwhelmed feeling we experienced is called Stendhal Syndrome and I succumbed more than once. Being the dork that I am, whenever I felt myself getting googly-eyed over so much art/beauty/Harry Potter/Kate Bush magic/history, I would say, “I think I’ve got Seinfeld Syndrome.” Makes no sense, I know. But that is what I said and I’m just being honest.

Don’t get me wrong. Stendhal Syndrome isn’t a bad thing. Feeling so deeply is wonderful. Art is wonderful. Mister and I saw some amazing things and we were emotionally and physically affected. Let’s hope one of the effects is more creative endeavors. Fingers crossed.
