When I first shared my painting “Abstract Series 1: 1985“, I mentioned there were a few other paintings in this series. What you see above is “Twin One” and what you see below is “Twin Two.”
I call these paintings “The Cocteau Twins.” I loved (love – present tense) that band. They opened my mind to musical ideas unthought of previously. And when I first heard them, I was a goner. So when it was time to name these 2 paintings, I knew I’d reference that beautiful music. And now I get to remember The Cocteau Twins on an almost daily basis. I’ll take it.
